This week I hit 100 days! So crazy!
This week was pretty normal, but a few days were really great.
Tuesday I had exchanges with Elder Saavedra from another area here in Tizayuca. It was really fun and since he was coming to my area, I had to do a lot more of the work. He's only been here like 4 months so both of us don't have much experience, but he's from Mexico so at least he speaks Spanish haha. We had like 8 lessons and ward coordination meeting, and it really pushed me, but I think I did well and felt the spirit all day helping me understand and speak the language! That was an awesome feeling. We also got pizza al pastor again which made the day even better!
Wednesday and Thursday were pretty normal, and I don't really remember much from those days, but they were probably good haha.
Friday was packed! We had zone conference, which was awesome, so much to remember but I understood like 90-95% of it probably which was awesome because it's all in Spanish! It was also fun to talk to some friends from other areas. We got back from zone conference and went right to the church for the baptism for Carlos and Citlali! It was awesome! Elder Garza baptized Carlos and I baptized Citlali. It was a super good meeting, and I got to bear my testimony after, and it all went smoothly! Then in the evening I got to talk to my mom because it was her birthday. That was super awesome to talk to her again. She’s the best!
Saturday was pretty regular, but we put Oliver on date! He's the son of Nuevadelhi who we baptized about a month ago! He's 17 and always has good questions for us in our meetings haha. But that family is so awesome! I love talking with them they're so fun.
Sunday was really good but stressful. I confirmed Carlos in the sacrament meeting, and I was really nervous, but it went well! That’s all for the week!
I love you all!
Elder Stevenson
