Hey everyone!
This week was pretty regular. We had a super long leadership meeting which was really good, but sooo long. Like 5 hours and it was virtual, so I was just in front of a computer for 5 hours. That day was pretty bad as far as the work goes, but other than that it was really a good week!
We also had a baptism Thursday. It was an awesome experience, and it was great because they invited some inactive family members and we got to talk to them after and it seems like they want to start coming back to church. We also did street contacting on Saturday, which I’ve done like 2 times ever, and it was scary but by the end of the 2 hours I was much better, and we found a few people that were pretty interested.
Other than that, the week was pretty normal. Also, I forgot to say this last week but one of our taxi drivers was wearing a BYU polo and it was really funny because he had no idea what it was.
This week in my personal study I was reading a bit about Captain Moroni. What a guy honestly. A great example that we can all follow. Also, this morning I was listening to a BYU devotional talk by Elder Holland called "Cast Not Away Therefore Your Confidence" which is one of my favorite talks (March 2, 1999). It’s about not forgetting or downplaying spiritual experiences you’ve had in the past, and knowing who we put our faith in. It’s a really great talk that I recommend you all listen to.
Anyway, that’s about it for me this week! I love you all and hope you’re doing great!
Elder Stevenson
