Hey everyone!
Super good week this week, I’ll just share a few things.
First off, I broke my bike! Kinda funny. I’ll send a picture. I also cut Elder Smurthwaite’s hair. We also had tons of lessons and we have lots of people who are really progressing!
On Wednesday we were contacting a lady in her little store, and after we come out, the guy next door comes out and starts speaking English to us which was so weird for a second. But turns out he used to teach English but lost his job a while ago and wants to keep practicing his English. So we visited him, taught him in English and gave him a Book of Mormon! Then we went back to visit him on Saturday and his wife and daughter were there, and we got to teach them as well. His wife was super impacted by the Book of Mormon, and it answered lots of questions she had about the resurrection and the afterlife. She is super excited to keep learning more. The coolest thing for her was that the Book of Mormon took place in the Americas, and that Christ himself visited the place she lives in. That has been something really cool to teach everyone, and lots of people start to have interest in the Book of Mormon for that part.
I also had exchanges with one of the zone leaders, Elder Taylor, this week. He’s from Springville and he’s super cool! He taught me lots and we did tons of work together. It has really been a great week.
I’m also super excited for general conference next week! It also just happens to be my birthday on the Saturday of conference which is like the best thing you could ask for on your mission birthday. Super stoked for that. Yesterday in church we talked about the talk "Lovest Thou Me More Than These?" by Elder Ballard from last conference. I love that one, and it helps me a lot to make sure I have my priorities straight. I recommend it!
Anyway, that’s about it for the week! Love you all lots!

Elder Stevenson, we love reading your experiences! What a unique opportunity you have to share the history of the Book of Mormon too!
