Hey everyone!
It’s been a really good first week here in Presas with Elder Espinoza! To keep it short I will just write a few highlights.
-Since we are the zone leaders, we got to go to a mission leadership meeting. It was crazy long, like 5 hours, and it was hard to stay awake, but it was also really good and we talked about a lot of things we can do to help the people in our zone.
-We have lots of people to teach and have been finding a lot of new people as well!
-The area is really green and has cool mountains
-I met an ex-pro road bike racer and talked to him in his shop. We talked about bikes for a while and he gave us his number and told us he would let us use bikes from the shop and we can all go on a ride next week! I got a picture with him that I will add.
-We put one of our friends, Antonela on date to be baptized!
-Elder Cox (the elder who served here before me) finished his mission and his family came to pick him up. They came to a ward activity we had on Wednesday and we got to meet them and talk to them. That’s the first time I’ve talked with American adults in person since I’ve been here in Mexico.
-We had a really bad leak in the sink so the whole week we were mopping up water from the kitchen floor multiple times a day. We got it fixed though!
-I gave a talk, we taught Elders Quorum, and gave a 20-minute presentation in a stake level meeting all on last Sunday.
-We played soccer and basketball with some elders in the area today. It was way fun!
That’s all for the week! I love you all! Also, I really liked the young adult devotional that President and Sister Nelson gave last Sunday. Give it a listen when you have time!
Love, Elder Stevenson
