Hey everyone!
Another week come and gone. It was a good one! Lots of finding, knocking doors etc. But there are 3 cool things I want to share.
- Our friend Eleazar who got baptized last week was ordained to be a priest this Sunday!
- We had zone conference, which was our president’s second to last one before they change. Hermana Maldonado talked a lot about the story of Peter and his change from being a regular fisherman to one of the greatest missionaries of all time and she compared it to us as missionaries. I loved that part.
- We had a conversation with a Jehova’s witness, who in the end basically told us we weren't qualified to be missionaries, not enough experience, not enough knowledge of the scriptures etc. But I was reading a scripture in D&C 35:13-14 that I like a lot. It says,
13 Wherefore, I call upon the weak things of the world, those who are unlearned and despised, to thresh the nations by the power of my Spirit;
14 And their arm shall be my arm, and I will be their shield and their buckler; and I will gird up their loins, and they shall fight manfully for me;
It really made me feel better about being a missionary, and that I don't have to know everything because everything is through the power of the spirit. Take that JW. Just kidding we love everyone!
That's it for the week! I love you all!
