Hey everyone!
We had a good week this week! We got COVID last week, so this week was half in quarantine, and half out of quarantine. It was actually really good that we had to stay inside for a while because it helped us focus more on our friends that we´re teaching right now and helping them progress. We put two people on date this week as well which was so awesome!
Honestly the highlight of the week was on Sunday when I got to participate in my home ward’s youth mission activity! We did a question-and-answer session and it was super cool to see the other missionaries from my ward who are out serving as well, and to help get the youth fired up to serve! It was awesome to see that my friends from my ward back home are awesome missionaries and that they’re doing the Lord’s work. it reminded me of a scripture in Alma that I like.
Alma 17:2-4
"2 Alma did rejoice exceedingly to see his brethren; and what added more to his joy, they were still his brethren in the Lord; yea, and they had waxed strong in the knowledge of the truth; for they were men of a sound understanding and they had searched the scriptures diligently, that they might know the word of God."
"3 But this is not all; they had given themselves to much prayer, and fasting; therefore they had the spirit of prophecy, and the spirit of revelation, and when they taught, they taught with power and authority of God."
"4 And they had been teaching the word of God for the space of fourteen years among the Lamanites, having had much success in bringing many to the knowledge of the truth; yea, by the power of their words many were brought before the altar of God, to call on his name and confess their sins before him."
The mission is so cool! I love it so much. It’s really the best thing I’ve ever done.
