Hey Everybody,
This week was really good! I am back with my old companion Elder Espinoza and I'm loving it! I also have a new assignment and my P-day is now Saturday. Elder Espinoza and I get along super well and we're having lots of success in our area.
Last week with Elder Mora was also super good! We had the baptism of the Martinez-Torres family, and it was such a cool experience. They shared their testimonies, and it was so powerful! That family is really special.
But yeah, I got transferred here to Pachuca again and it's been a really good time! We have a friend named Edwin who we're teaching and he's super cool! He told us he wanted to get baptized so we put him on date. We didn't even have to extend a baptismal invitation! He just told us he wanted to get baptized. Super cool guy. Other than that, the week has flown! It's kind of a blur honestly, and I don't remember a ton. But the mission is awesome! Every day is so fun.
This week we have been studying the atonement a lot and it has helped me to understand just how important Jesus Christ is and how important and urgent missionary work is. I really liked this verse from 2 Nephi 2:8
"Wherefore, how great the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth, that they may know that there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah"
Hope you all have a super good week!
Elder Stevenson
