Thanksgiving!

This week was crazy! The short of it is, I helped Hermana Wright make Thanksgiving! It was super fun. We made dinner for 30 people, which was a pretty big undertaking, but it came out well.

Then yesterday we put our friend Fanny on date for baptism! I think I’ve talked about her, she’s the girlfriend of a member here in the ward, and we’ve been teaching her for a while. She finally received her answer that she should get baptized! That was super cool. So she will be getting baptized soon.

Also, I had an exchange with one of my old companions, Elder Heumann. That was super fun, and we were able to see our progress in Spanish and in our teaching abilities.

Anyway, that’s kind of it for last week, but a short version. I’m short on time so that’s all for this week. But just for a short verse that I liked this week, Alma 30:44. This is actually the verse from my missionary plaque in my ward.

"The scriptures are laid before thee, yea, and all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator."

All things denote there is a God! That’s how I feel whenever I’m in the mountains or in nature. Have a good week!!!
