This week has been a good one! Very crazy too. Some really cool things were:
We got a camera a few weeks ago for the mission, and Elder Espinoza and I have been using it to make better content for the Mission Facebook page! It's pretty fun because our Facebook page before was soooooo bad. And since we have posted a few good posts, the page has gotten a lot more interactions and shares! That was really cool. So we have been making a lot of videos this week with missionaries from all over the mission!
We also had a really good lesson with Axel and Ivan, the kids of a less active sister. We put them on date for the 17th of this month. They are loving coming to church and being part of the Young Men’s organization.
Last Sunday was the primary program, which I love so much! They sang a lot of songs that I know, and several I had never heard before. And like always there were some kids who sang super loud and off tune, which is so cute. That was so fun.
Fanny is still doing well, working toward her baptismal date of January 16. She is super solid and is basically a member at this point.
This morning I realized that the sisters who arrived in the mission with me are about to finish next week! And I realized how grateful I am that my mission is a 2-year mission. I feel like I still have so much to learn and to improve on and people to meet and teach. The mission is awesome, and I have 6 whole months more to be able to serve with everything! This really is the best time of my life and I feel so happy with where I am and with what I'm doing.
2 Nephi 5:27
"And it came to pass that we lived after the manner of happiness"
Love you all!!! Have an awesome week.
Elder Stevenson
