Fanny’s baptism

 Hey everyone!

The highlight of this week was that last Sunday Fanny got baptized! It was a super cool and spiritual service. She is a real convert and I know she will be a solid member and leader in the church. Other than that, we were pretty busy. We put Erick on date, who is the younger brother of our convert Fernanda, from a few months ago. We also have 4 other people who are progressing really well, and we are super excited for them. This week we also had zone conferences, which went super well. The trainings were all super good and I feel like the mission is going in a really good direction. We are hyped!

One of the trainings in zone conference was about the restoration and the importance of teaching it well. It made me think a lot about that message. It really makes a lot of sense. We read in the Bible that Christ established a church during his time, and we clearly see that that church was lost. Knowing that God would never leave us without the fullness of his teachings, he had to restore the church and he had to call a prophet. I know that Joseph Smith was called by God to be a prophet and to restore his church. And no matter what anyone says about him, or the church or its history, I know that it is true because the Book of Mormon is true. There is no other explanation for the existence of that book and the doctrine that it teaches. I have read it and prayed about it and have received answers time and time again of its truthfulness.

That’s all for this week!
